(Denis Diderot, History and s\u00e9miology of images and texts). She has pursued a jointly supervised postgraduate studies at the University EHESS in Paris (Department of Theory and History of Art) and at ELTE (Department of Aesthetics), where she got her PhD in 2004 (<em>summa cum laude<\/em>). Her fields of research are modern and contemporary art history (especially conceptual art, media art, new media art); contemporary aesthetics and visual studies of contemporary culture (photography, publicities).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>During and after her studies she has received several fellowships from the French Government, the Hungarian Government (E\u00f6tv\u00f6s), the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (Sasakawa), the Soros Foundation and the K\u00e1llai Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Nikolatta participates in the research group of EHESS of the Paris <em>CRAL<\/em> (Centre de recherche sur les arts et le langage) and in the research group <em>Narratives in Culture<\/em> of the University of P\u00e9cs.
